like the perfect layering combination, color concoction or a statement accessory, a surprising and fresh silhouette is one of fashion’s true pleasures. coming from a gal who almost exclusively wears waist cinching frocks, i truly admire those willing to take chances with their ensembles with regards to the shape and lines of the look. as females we are told to accentuate your best attributes while hiding your flaws and i think the best part about daring silhouettes is the big F U statement you make when you stray from what is supposed to work for your body type. personally, one of my fashion goals is to try experimenting more with the silhouette of my looks, nothing feels more daring and I’m thinking it will come off looking pretty damn fresh. stay tuned.

is one thing we can be sure of for spring, it’s the overflowing options chicks
will have with colored and printed denim. everyone from seven, jbrand,
rag and bone, elizabeth and james and current/elliott are going for broke
with their bold array of colors and graphic prints. in terms of colors,
the creamy neons are more prominent than the primary ones, giving that 80’s
vibe that has been around for a while. the printed jean trend is
definitely a love it or hate it kind of deal, coming in the form of retro 80’s
lines, florals, and animal print, however I think when paired with the right
accouterments, this could be kind of amazing.
above are a few of my personal favorites.
