Light fixtures can be transformative. This much is true. When we first bought our home, I luckily had the vision to see passed the plethora of confused 1990’s lighting. Some of my personal favorites include, tiny cone pendants over the kitchen island and the large plastic bowl pendant in the dining room. I am always on the hunt for lighting that inspires me, so when I stumbled upon Coleen & Company, Inc. a few years ago, you can imagine my delight.
Coleen Rider, the founder and face behind Coleen & Company has hit the nail on the head many times over with her namesake handmade lighting. Her lanterns, all of which are all made in the USA, are the perfect balance of tradition and whimsy. In her collection you will see, more than a nod to Palm Beach. You will also see a chic rainbow of colors. From turquoise to tortoise, these handmade pieces of art can also be custom painted in any color of your choice.
I’m lucky enough to have a custom eggplant purple Tole Tent Lantern in my Foyer, however I wish I had a place for many more of her chic creations. If you are as crazy about these beautiful lanterns as me, be sure to check out her website. In recent months, she has added sconces to her assortment. The Tassel Sconce is my personal favorite.
